Construction update – Jubilee Place

Jubilee Place will reach its final height this month with the completion of the rooftop plant and pergola over the green roof topping out the building.

The high performance low VLT curtain wall façade has now progressed to level 8 and will be rapidly completed once the screens to the upper levels have been removed early next month.

The building’s mechanical plant is currently being assembled on a vacant lot in Water Street and will be tested before being trucked to site as larger sections to be craned into the final location. This approach, of pre-testing prior to installation, has been taken to further accelerate the program. IWG and Watpac’s integrated fit outs are well underway with the services installation now all but complete. On the ground plane, the demolition and removal of the balance of Jubilee Hotel’s old beer garden has begun and the heritage pub is in the process of being taken back to its original fabric, ready for the refurbishment.
